LEAP Cohort 5 LEAP Into Action Conference

This overview session will explain how Thinking Maps are a set of 8 visual patterns that correlate to specific cognitive processes. They are used across all grades and content areas to build the critical thinking, problem-solving, comprehension, and communication skills necessary for academic success in every domain. “My students can’t think!” How often have we heard this comment? Just like any other skill, skillful thinking has to be explicitly taught. Explicitly teaching cognitive skills will provide a systemic consistent way of learning.
