I will introduce the Zones of Regulation by Leah Kuypers, to participants, pulling from years of my experience, working with teachers, administrators, and school staff, in classrooms and school-wide. I will go through hands-on ways to implement Zones of Regulation and teach/reinforce skills to students from the CASEL 5 SEL areas (self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision-making, social awareness and relationship skills.) I will also include how the Zones of Regulation concepts support teaching, modeling and reinforcing PBIS framework in every classroom.
